AKB48 is a large Japanese girl idol group with Yasushi Akimoto as the chief producer. It is divided into five teams: Team A, Team K, Team B, Team 4 and Team 8. Established on December 08, 2005. AKB48 and its sister group are often referred to as the "AKB48 group", and the total number of members in its group group has exceeded 450.
